Get the RadioWORKS application if you want to calculate path loss, antenna lengths or frequencies, signal decay rate, and other calculations related to radio waves and radio wave propagation. You can do this with this Joseph B. Kowalski-developed tool for Windows.

Speaking about Windows, you will be able to easily install RadioWORKS on your Windows-powered PC. You need only download a 2.2MB .MSI file (the download won’t take long to complete, not even on a lousy internet connection), run it, and then follow the instructions presented to you by a setup wizard. It’s a standard setup process that will not cause you any problem.

The RadioWORKS interface focuses on functionality rather than on looks – it will help you get the job done fast. There’s nothing complicated about the interface either: there are a bunch of tabs at the top that when clicked on, they reveal all the various calculations you can perform with the application.

As mentioned above, you can use RadioWORKS to perform various calculations related to radio waves and radio wave propagation. If you have any problems using this functionality, hover the mouse over any field box and a valid input range for that field will be displayed. You can also access context-sensitive help by clicking the yellow question mark situated in the top right corner of the interface.

Use RadioWORKS to calculate radio wave properties and propagation for free, for as long as you want. The application is freeware, as I’ve already mentioned above.

RadioWORKS is a handy tool you can use to calculate radio wave propagation and other things of the sort. And it’s free!

Pros

It will take little time and effort to get RadioWORKS up and running. The application comes with a simple interface. Use RadioWORKS to perform various calculations related to radio waves and radio wave propagation. RadioWORKS is freeware.

Cons

None that I could think of.
